Yin Yoga

This class is taught by:

Kim Hinzmann

I am the mother of four amazing and busy children, an over energetic border collie/beagle child and three frisky feline kiddos as well. Some days I feel like I run a zoo! I NEED yoga in my own life and I know everyone can benefit from a yoga practice in theirs! I know in my heart and soul that yoga really IS for EVERY body! Fourteen years ago I had two Doctors tell me I needed spinal surgery, discs needed to be fused which would cause a permanent loss of mobility. Thankfully I was convinced by a third Doctor and my sister to try yoga... I was immediately hooked! I never felt better, not only in my back but in my entire body and self esteem. I had more energy, was stronger than ever and lost weight quickly! I have a drive, a passion, to share this experience with everyone I can. I love to see the growth in my students, physically as well as every other aspect. I bring the love of yoga basics to students who have never had the pleasure of trying yoga as well as to intermediate and advanced students, helping with alignment and up-leveling. Always encouraging growth. I am trained in Vinyasa, Yin and Hatha style yoga. I am and will continue to be a student myself. I look forward to sharing my passion with you soon!

Malia Clancy

Malia is a Vinyasa trained yoga instructor passionate about providing calm, safe, and unique instruction, guiding students through class with acknowledgment to all individual needs. From a young age, Malia felt a calling to practice and teach yoga on a consistent basis and achieved her teaching certification dream in 2016. The beginnings of her classes include time to set an intention for the day, often offering a short reading, poem, or a certain theme for the class. The practice of yoga is not just for our bodies; it’s an important piece to our mental and spiritual health. Creating a mindful and peaceful atmosphere provides the opportunity for union between the body, mind and spirit. Finding this union is and always will be a lifelong practice. She is humbled and grateful to teach at Bindi as this studio reflects her beliefs and practices. She’s happy to be a part of the beautiful community of students and instructors alike.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” -Viktor Frankl

Wild Woman Yoga™
:: Move and Breathe into your Wild ::
Wild is b a l a n c e and flow. Wild is remembering that you are of the Earth. Wild is remembering that you are Whole. Through guided meditation, pranayama, meditative movement and flowing vinyasa, students are invited to feel into their WILD.
Elizabeth McKee launched Wild Woman Yoga LLC after graduating from The Craft of Teaching Yoga™ in 2018. She has been a student of hatha, vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga since 2010. After years of self study, she chose to deepen her knowledge of philosophy, anatomy and Ayurveda with formal study and pursued a robust 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program. As a graduate of The Craft and a student of Adrienne and Eric Rabena, Elizabeth is a practitioner of the Spirit Flow methodology. Her vinyasa flow classes are creative, musical and meaningful with resonant themes. Elizabeth’s continuing education with Tara Judelle in Embodied Flow™ played with her passion for moving meditation and increased her knowledge of consciously constructing classes that connect the self to the whole.
Modern life is fast enough—your yoga doesn’t have to be. Deliberately mindful, measured movement can balance that frenzied energy. Go ahead and surrender to our soft, soothing, spirit-lifting sequences. Quiet your mind, relieve aches and soothe your soul in tranquil sessions that are designed to leave you refreshed. Classes are held in our non-heated room, but bring layers of clothing for your own comfort. Mats, bolsters, blankets, and other props are provided, or feel free to bring your own. These are great classes for those looking to start their yoga journey as they are in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All levels of yoga practitioners are welcome!

Yin Yoga: We like to call this "Yummy Yoga"! This class is a great way to unwind and relax, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and stress free. You will be guided into asanas/postures sometimes using props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps. Asanas are held for several minutes allowing deep connective tissues to undergo static stresses to be remodeled. You will be giving your body and mind time to relax for the rest of the day.
